The Rollingwood Remodel is a top-to-bottom remodel and main suite addition inspired by the French Colonial style of New Orleans. Stairs were relocated to create a grand entry and the walls on either side replaced by stunning steel and glass doors; a modern element that complements the style of the house. To improve flow, walls were removed downstairs, opening the kitchen to the living room. The kitchen was completely updated and is enhanced by the addition of a large butler’s pantry. A new glass-enclosed wine room under the stairs is accessible from both kitchen and living room. The home’s second story was expanded over the garage to accommodate a new main suite with separate his and hers bathrooms. The laundry room was moved upstairs and bedrooms updated to better accommodate the young family.
