The owners at Balcones Club Residence tasked Restructure Studio with adding a partial second story to accommodate a game room, guest bedroom and bath along with remodel to the home’s existing kitchen, den, living room and master bath. The addition of high dormer windows brings natural light into what was formerly a dark and cave-like living area. The kitchen was reconfigured to include a large island and space for stairs to the new second level. The renovation was rounded out with the addition of a cover to provide much needed shade to the existing back porch.
